When brunch was over, I came out of the front of the main building to find this display of farm veggies.

It is a great privilege to work with this fine food.

Scattergood Day Brunch

Brunch

Yesterday was Scattergood Day.  Many guests to feed.

Scrambled eggs with mushrooms and sausage, Squash cheese cake, Roast potatoes, Watermelon.

From the farm: Eggs, Sausage, Squash, Potatoes, Watermelon.

There were over 130 people at brunch.

Must be a new year!

Irving made us "Hoppin' John" a traditional new years dish. ham hocks, onions, garlic and several variety of chile  from the farm!

Wednesday Lunch

Spaghetti Squash, Roasted Vegetable Medley with Bratwurst, Parmesan Cheese.

From the farm: Spaghetti Squash, Bratwurst, Red Bell Peppers, Italian Green Beans, Zucchini, Mustard Greens, Garlic, Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers.

Not from the farm: Parmesan Cheese, Mushrooms, Carrots, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Butter, Salt, Cayenne Pepper.

Cold Weather Food.

Baked potato bar! From the farm: poblano peppers, onions, bacon, potatoes and green beans.

Maple cookies

Lunch today was beef stew, biscuits and maple cookies. Beef, squash and maple syrup from the Scattergood Farm.

Greenapalooza!

Beautiful green stuff, veggie burgers with mustard green filling, mustard green mayo, presto mustard (farm basil), onions  tomatoes. So much Scattergood farm good in one meal. We are lucky!
